The Million-Dollar Question: “What Are the Best Astrocartography Lines?”
When I first started studying Astrocartography, I had a goal in mind. I wanted to know where I should go to find more happiness and fewer struggles. I mean, we are all humans looking for the same thing, right? I learned all about my lines in France, where I’ve been living for the past 12 years. It was during my first Saturn return, and I was pretty hopeless about everything. Looking back, I realized I was using Astrocartography in a destructive way. I blamed all my hardship on those lines.
It took me lots of time, reflection, and therapy to understand what I want to share today. Of course, as with everything I write, this is only my perspective.
You Are Exactly Where You’re Supposed to Be
Today, I understand—not just rationally but in my heart—that I needed everything I’ve been through since moving here. I’m not saying suffering is a necessary part of growth, but I went through a lot because I didn’t know better. Eventually, the healing came, and continues to come, through it all—the “good” and the “bad”.
Every coin has two faces. Every astrocartography line does too.
I once heard this story that really stuck with me.
There was a farmer who lived with his son and his horse. One day, the horse ran away. The neighbors came by and said, “Oh no, that’s terrible!” The farmer just shrugged and said, “Good or bad, who’s to say?”
A few days later, the horse came back, and it brought two wild horses with it. The neighbors were thrilled and said, “Wow, that’s amazing!” The farmer shrugged again, “Good or bad, who’s to say?”
While trying to tame one of the wild horses, the farmer’s son got thrown off and broke his leg. The neighbors came by to express their sympathy, “That’s awful!” The farmer, still unfazed, said, “Good or bad, who’s to say?”
Not long after, a war broke out, and all the young men were called to fight. Because of his broken leg, the farmer’s son was spared. The neighbors said, “How lucky you are!” And the farmer just said, “Good or bad, who’s to say?”
This story shows that life’s events are just events. We’re the ones who label them, and sometimes it’s better to just see them for what they are without getting too caught up in judgments.
In the end, all the experiences, labeled by me as positive or negative, shaped me into who I’ve become.
Your Best Places Are Those Pointed By Your Intuition
In a world where the rational and intuitive are often unbalanced, I believe we have more to gain by listening to our subtle inner voice. Astrology is a tool and should be used to make informed decisions, not to replace the truth in your heart.
When I decided to move to France as a teenager, I didn’t know a thing about astrology. As I said, it was full of ups and downs, and I would do it all again. To live your dream life, you have to become that person who’s living the dream... It’s all about the journey, and I invite you to look back and you’ll understand. Who I’ve become is the person I needed to be in order to live what I’ve dreamed of. Every single step was necessary. I’m super grateful for my Astrocartography lines, although I wish I knew about Astrocartography earlier on my journey so I could navigate with clarity. And I’m so glad I’ve followed my intuition even if rationnally it made no sense!
I have many, many other stories of people like me, one of which you can read here. In consultations, the synchronicities never cease to amaze me. People intuitively feel attracted to places connected to their soul needs. The problem arises when you choose doubt and fear. It truly drives me crazy when people freak out about moving after learning about the meaning of, say, a Pluto line. If you take anything from this article, please: trust your gut before any external tool. We all come equiped with an inner GPS that has all the answers, we just have to learn how to listen to it!
How to Use Astrocartography in a Conscious Way
By now, you know I’m not the astrologer who will tell you where to move! Who am I to promise you happiness if this is such a personal concept? How could I guarantee that when life is full of ups and downs no matter where you go, because we live in a reality of duality?
However, what I love about Astrocartography is that it brings us awareness. If I can see what lessons life is teaching me in a specific place, I can proactively develop the necessary skills. It’s like learning to surf instead of fighting the tides. This knowledge has helped me flow with the parts of myself that were trying to bloom and take back my personal power.
Another way to incorporate Astrocartography into your life is through activating archetypes. Some fellow Brazilian astrologers I admire use it to choose aligned places for significant events, like weddings or launching an online course. This can also be done remotely, as I’ve written in another article.
Lastly, if you feel pulled to a certain place, Astrocartography can help you understand what to expect, what opportunities await and what parts of your psyche you might be invited to explore and develop to live a more fulfilling life.
